Our Canada homestays are

SAFE - Situated in and around the rural city of Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada, our homestay families are middle-class, mostly retired people with kids and grandchildren of their own. EASY - If you join this program, you will be picked up at the airport and cared for until your departure. There will be some free time, but our homestay families want to spend quality time with their Japanese guests. You will be guided and assisted throughout your visit. Some of the homestay parents are English teachers; they are used to English learners. Even if you are not very good at speaking English, they will make you comfortable and help you improve.

DIRECT - The Campbell River area is largely undiscovered by Asian tourists (although it is famous among sports fishermen). If you join this program you will be surrounded by Canadians and will inevitably learn a lot of English.

WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES FOR KIDS - We have positions for all ages of kids, from 8 to 16. Any combination of family members is possible, for any length of time, at all times of year. During the day little kids aged 3-5 may attend a Canadian preschool while the parent takes ESL lessons. The child attends preschool for about 1 hour the first day, 2 hours the next, and 3 hours the next few days while the parent gradually phases out Japanese support. Each program is entirely personalized and adaptable to the child's feelings and confidence... In just a few fun hours playing and learning among Canadian kids, your child will naturally pick up an extraordinary amount of English. Children in the 8-16 age range can join their parents or attend school with Canadian children depending on the season. 　

Notes: Parent-child homestays are generally for a period of 1-week, but longer homestays are possible. Please contact us for details. Homestays are available year round. Airfare to Canada varies throughout the year. Airfare is not included in our pricing. You must arrange for and buy your ticket yourself.
